Aimee is getting married! What does this mean to you, my dear readers? It means you’ll get a front row seat in my part of the planning for the big day (mostly print and on-site coordination).
Aimee and Caylum are getting married in July at a vineyard in the valley. To give you an idea of the theme, you can refer to a previous wedding inspiration post here. On Saturday, the bride, one of her bridesmaids and I drove down to check out the site, take some measurements and sample the wine … when in Rome…
It is hard to visualize a hot day in July with lots of flourishing grape vines, green grass and flower gardens when you are standing in a unheated room for two hours but, despite the snow and cold hands, we saw a lot of potential in the space are are very excited to put everything together.
Here is a sneak peak of the space. The wooden beams are already covered with white lights but the plan is to drape off-white fabric on the sloped ceilings leaving the sky light in the middle exposed. Mason jars filled with candles will be in abundance along with wine barrels and fabric covered chairs. The tables will be covered in off-white table clothes with craft paper liners and baby’s breath in jars. The white lights will also continue outside and into the gardens.
Stay tuned for a few DIY projects, the printed pieces and the big day!
