they’re hitched

I Just realized I didn’t share with you the final print items for the Navy By The Sea wedding I worked on this Summer. Good thing it is Wedding Wednesday.

The last update was in June, just after the invites were sent in the mail. Since then, the wedding happened and a few more items were printed for the event.

The Navy By The Sea Wedding invites have been sent out and hopefully the RSVPs are trickling in. Christmas card season has nothing on this brief but exciting time in a couple’s engagement.

After a few rounds of layouts, here is the final invitation and RSVP postcard*:

hang it. series four.

Affordable art. Yes please! One way to decorate some bare walls on a budget is hang greeting cards. There are so many talented folks on Etsy and local artists who’d be honoured to have their stuff framed. Here are some goodies I’ve added to my collection or have bookmarked for future purchases.

Another great idea is frame postcards. In Paris? Purchase three postcards for a few euros and frame them. Always be on the lookout for inexpensive posters and artwork – they look great and will serve as a reminder of a lovely trip.

If you have too many cards and no space for hanging, create an inspiration board. Here’s mine, which hangs above my desk, and makes me smile when what’s on the monitor is less than inspiring.
