Ask me what my favourite meal is? Breakfast. And ask me what I’ll always choose to eat at breakfast. Eggs.
I love them poached, scrambled, over easy, boiled, in a sandwich, baked, devilled, fried, bennied and coddled!
So obviously I was so excited to hear about this place is LA – Egg Slut. Seriously. I must go.
My all-time favourite breakfast was the Eggs Benedict at Janes on the Common (but sadly, it is gone). Then I discovered a place called Cheeky’s Restaurant in Palms Springs who made scrambled eggs with cream cheese and chives (don’t knock it till you’ve tried it) but it is in Palm Springs …
These days I rely on myself and my mom to fill the void. I am actually pretty good at making eggs – so says my son – and will continue to do so until I get to Egg Slut. Here is what’s making me drool on the menu:
