For the last six years, this has been an exciting weekend for me—a time of big dreams and big goals as I look ahead towards a summer of awesomeness. But here we are, on the eve of the May long weekend and I am launching year seven of my 100 Day of Summer Bucket List with no clue what summer will bring.
These are crazy times, friends. I thought about cancelling my list—because almost everything else has been cancelled, but summer is not cancelled, and we need to do what we can to stay positive and embrace the power of fresh summer air. So here I go, a very modified bucket list. I am anticipating some restrictions will be lifted but have decided not to worry about doing my usual carry-overs. Another year, another year without Shakespeare in the Park.

There’s a good chance that by the power of Dr. Strang, some of these can’t happen, but as the proverb says, “It’s better to have tried and failed than to live life wondering what would’ve happened if I had tried.” —Alfred Lord Tennyson.
As always, the rules are simple, summer starts this weekend (the long weekend of May) and ends on the last day of September. I hope with all my heart, to take on these adventures with family and friends.
