Summer is officially over and the #100DaysofSummer results are in. Although I did not get everything done, I flew in a freaking helicopter over Hawaii!!! so I’m not complaining. Plus, I can happily say I NEVER have to slip & slide again!

  1. See Shakespeare by the Sea***** 
  2. Ride a slip & slide****: The last time I did this, I ended up in emergency with a fractured finger. This time it was only a bloody nose, bruised chest bone and utter embarrassment.
  3. Hike Cape Chignecto*** 
  4. Sleep in a tent**
  5. Dance in the rain**
  6. Go tidal bore rafting**
  7. Go to a drive-in*
  8. Go antiquing*
  9. Wash the windows*
  10. Night swim*
  11. Run and jump off a dock without knowing the temperature of the water*: #10, 11, 26 and 78 were all accomplished at once! My friends like to make things happen.
  12. Go sailing*
  13. Run in at least one race! Injuries had me worried but I managed to squeeze in 3 races and 2 relays
  14. Initiate Wine & Walk: Carrying this amazing idea into Fall.

  15. Discover a new local hiking trail: Shannon Park is beautiful at sundown.

  16. Visit an old favourite (Duncan’s Cove): For the win. 

  17. Apply sunscreen every freaking day
  18. Snorkle: Off a boat, in Maui!
  19. Have a lunch date: Two birthday, two taco dates.

  20. Have a brunch date: Edna’s!
  21. Make salsa

  22. Make peach jam

  23. Make peach pie
  24. Make rhubarb pie: Sadly not my best pies
  25. Dine at Rhubarb: Put this on your summer dining list next year
  26. Paddleboard on Lake Banook
  27. Zipline: SO MUCH FUN
  28. Visit Hopewell Rocks

  29. Frenchys with friends
  30. Eat strawberry shortcake for supper

  31. Host a Beyond Meat BBQ

  32. Surprise someone at work with a coffee: I did this on September 30. Sarah surprised her students with a puppy parade.
  33. Dinner on the waterfront

  34. Dinner on a patio: Celebrating Aimee’s 40th…

  35. And drinks to go! Keeping it classy, always.
  36. Only use the clothesline

  37. Send flowers to a friend: When you can’t be there in person.
  38. Go on a 13km run with Mike celebrating our 13 year anniversary

  59. Get a pedicure: It was a manicure because my toes are not worthy of love

  62. Watch fireworks from my in-law’s patio

  97. Go to a movie (outside?): Technically, the theatre was in an outside mall…

  100. Play hooky: Student Strike For Climat Change

And I feel like some of the missed things can still happen this fall….
