Can we please pack away the socks? April of over so let’s take time to take stock:
Inspired by
The Boston Marathon – we pulled off the highway to watch and I was super inspired by all of the runners… perhaps that’s why I just signed up for marathon #6. Eeeke!
Reading
I am still reading The Nest by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney but I have In The Company of Women, by Grace Bonney on hold at the library.
Listening to
The Hate You Give, by Angie Thomas – Audiobook. It’s really Really good. Next up for bookclub: Small Great Things, by Jodi Picoult.
Watching
Did you watch 13 Reasons Why? I loved it but I wish I had read the book first. I am now halfway though Girlboss.
Thinking about
My 100 Days of Summer and 40 Before 40 Lists.
Dreaming of
Life on my front porch. At my sister’s house I really enjoyed being out front. I need to make my front porch situation more appealing.
Eating/Drinking
Total. Food. Rut. Send help.
Buying
Nothing. Not because I want to buy nothing. It’s not a movement.
Embracing
The post boot / pre flip flop season. Excited to bring out the jean jacket.
Loving
Being busy. Winter can be slow and lonely for freelancers – we get busy when y’all start vacationing.
Wanting
My girl Anna (Rifle Paper Co) launched a collaboration with LeSportsac. I want it all.
How about you? Do you stop and take stock of life lately?
